That way the ACC footprint would still be contiguous and we would have a big football program to add. Plus, the backyard brawl with pitt would still be played. I know academics there aren't the greatest, but it is a better add than UConn, IMO

Did they magically bump their athletic GPA to a 3.5 average? If not, I don't see Swofford going after them. I wouldn't mind them joining though from a sports point of view.
