I’m stuck in bed all weekend with a leg infection

That developed from a minor surgery to remove some skin cancer on my shin (sucks to get old).
I’m sitting here thinking what the over under is on my beautiful and loving wife cutting off my beer supply at some point during the day. I’m thinking 6.
I can already hear it:
“You aren’t supposed to drink while on antibiotics. Don’t you want your leg to get better?”
“ You are taking pain meds, that is bad for your liver!”
I need some advice on how to manage this sensitive situation and maximize my beer supply. Im asking for help from what I am sure is the deep expertise that resides on TigerNet. Advice?

If Flagyl, Tindamax, or Bactrim, don’t drink.
Otherwise, moderate consumption with adequate hydration and nutrition is OK for game day.
