Gil Thorp Comic Strip...

I don't know if any of you read this comic strip, but it is a sports related strip that's been in publication for a very long time. I have read it since high school.
It's now football and volleyball season in Milford.
Recently the comic strip went "woke" and it's gotten very difficult to read and stay interested.
Does anyone else keep up with it, and what do you think?

Haven't read it in a long time. Don't get the paper anymore. Does Gil still have the slicked back, black hair or is he graying yet?

I read it years ago. I would come home from school, bypass all the boring stuff, and go straight for the comics. I may be mistaken, or thinking about someone else, but as I recall, the writer was pretty conservative in his thinking, but was killed in an auto accident. I guess the people that took the strip over, had other thoughts.
