Getting blown out by a crappy team

Mar 2, 2022, 8:19 PM

Lousy shot selection and looking lost on both ends of the court

This didn't age well.
I often wonder why people make an assessment of the game before the game is over.

In his defense, we were getting blown out by a crappy team when he made the post. Luckily for those of us that support the Tigers, our guys found a way to dig deep and overcome the deficit to come out on top. I am sure they are taking it one day at a time and putting their best foot forward as they progress through the remainder of their schedule. When Va Tech comes to town on Saturday, the Tigers will hopefully give it their all and the best team will come out on top. But remember you can't win them all and every dog has their day.

Sorry I have run out of cliches now. Y'all be blessed.

You can guarantee Va Tech will also be ready to play. Not like BC and Ga Tech who aren't playing for anything. Ok, the Tigers snuck up on Wake, but Wake was more over the line to make the NCAAT when they played, and knew had some games left, besides had two key guys hurt or get hurt. Va Tech's has been playing the best ball in ACC not named Duke in the last month. They have to have this win and probably win two or three in the ACCT. They have bigs that are very athletic, and a lot of good shooters. It will be a very tight game and Mike Young hasn't lost to Brad since he came to Va Tech.

I can't disagree with anything you said. However, I will remind you that Clemson was also missing arguably their 2 best players (certainly 2 of their best big men) against Wake, so you won't see me shed any tears for Wake's being down 2 of their better players. Hopefully, Hall is back on Saturday and he can counteract Aluma.

Good point, but Hall could be rusty as Tyson showed yesterday. I just want to see how much the Tigers have really improved against a team that will be just as ready if not more, and playing very good ball now. The PG play will have to be the best all season to win, because Tech has two good ones now.
