I am so sick of this Big 12 crud and idiots like Klatt. They are worse than the SEC folks in their hay-day. You want some facts Big 12 clowns, here you go….

The Big 12 is 4-6 against other Power 5 conferences. Here are their best wins….

OU beat Ohio St (good win at Columbus); oh wait, that’s it.

Other wins include TCU (Big 12 Champ Contender) over Arkansas (1-5 in down SEC); OKST over Pitt (Big 12 Champ Contender over 2-4 in ACC team); Texas Tech over ASU (5-5 overall).

Ok, so you have one impressive win out of conference. OU beat Ohio State, which also got drilled by Iowa, who beat Iowa State.

So who did the Big 12 teams lose against out of conference?

Well, WVU (tied for 2nd in Big 12 Conference Standings) lost to VT (upper level team in ACC); Texas (mid-level Big 12) lost to Maryland (sucky Big 10 team); Iowa State (mid-level Big 12) lost to Iowa (decent Big 10); Kansas State lost to Vandy; Baylor lost to Duke (both bottom feeders).

So if you’re scoring at home, that would be ACC - 2, Big 12 – 1 in head to head matchups, with the Big 12 win being one of their contenders against one of the ACC cellar dwellers. Real impressive Big 12’ers.

So which teams have the ACC beaten out of conference? That would be Auburn, Purdue, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Northwestern, & Baylor. Not exactly an all-star list, but the two biggest wins came from the two division title winners, and against team that are in contention for the CFP (maybe no longer ND).

Oh, but we’re not finished. ACC teams still have 4 more teams against Power 5 out of conference opponents. So the ACC will have played 19 games against Power 5 conferences while the Big 12 will stay at 10. Yes, the Big 12 only has 10 teams, but that means that each Big 12 team only plays 1 out of conference Power 5 opponent (actually Texas had the balls to play 2, Kansas none – don’t blame them).

Again, who is the Big 12 playing out of conference? Remember, these OOC schedules are made a few years in advance. Who was the “all-world” conference a few years ago? The SEC (Yes, I know it was BS, but that was the perception.) So who does the Big 12 challenge themselves against? Yes, they played 2 SEC teams this year. Conference contender TCU took on bottom-dweller Arkansas, and Kansas State played Vandy (don’t think that worked out to be the easy win you thought Snyder).

The ACC teams (not including natural rivals) scheduled 5 teams against the SEC. And that did not reflect top ACC teams scheduling bottom SEC teams. Clemson played Auburn (equal); NCST played Scar (equal); FSU played Bama (equal); Syracuse played LSU (step up for Syracuse); GT played Tenn (equal); Duke played Baylor (equal this year, but step up when scheduled and Briles was there).

The Big 12 is playing the old hand the SEC used to play. Let’s have our good teams get ranked on their recent history, and when we beat each other, it’s Top 15 wins or losses to “really good” teams. Everything the Big 12 proponents argue hangs squarely on OU beating Ohio State in Columbus. There is no other truly impressive win on the record books this year. And even that win is questionable. Ohio State got destroyed by Clemson in the playoffs last year, and also got destroyed by Iowa this year. The same Iowa that beat Iowa State, that beat OU. You want more respect, schedule tougher out of conference games you pansies!

Big 12 fans, stop screaming that OU is being disrespected and deserves to be ranked ahead of Clemson and Miami. If, and I mean IF you win out, you’ll have your chance to prove it in Pasadena or New Orleans. But when it’s over, take your medicine like a man whoever hands it to you, and go cry yourself to sleep. Until then, remember the last time you stepped on to the truly big stage, you got humpty-dumptied and still haven’t put all the pieces back together!
