A SC and Louisiana connection

Jan 1, 2020, 1:05 PM

General Beauregard was stationed in Charleston for much of the civil war. He paid respects to the burial site of John C Calhoun who is buried in Charleston. Calhoun is considered the Father of Succession. His plantation is where Clemson University is now located. After the war Beauregard became president of LSU.
