General Admission Question

Sep 16, 2015, 8:28 AM

I'm not sure how general admission/space avail. works at Death Valley. Can anyone tell me how to get a "standing room" ticket to get into the lower section?

My dilemma:

I just purchased a (4) pack of tickets for the Boston College game from a friend, but I have a family of 5. Before I get called a "coot" based on my math skills... this is what I did a couple years ago when our youngest was still free and she sat in our lap.

All three of our kids are under 10, so we will still fit in 4 seats. My youngest still prefers to sit in laps so it is really a non-issue. I just need to pay for our 5th to get into the stadium. Is there a best way to get a general admission, or do I have to buy a single seat?

The only general admission tickets are for students that include showing a student ID when going through the gate.

You need to find a seat in the same area (ie. lower bowl, TD North, TD South) to make this work.

I do believe there are still General Admission Tickets

But, they are pretty rare. My now wife bought me a date season ticket a few years ago when she was still in school and I just graduated. It came as General Admission and could be swapped for tickets in her block. Im not sure of any other way to get them.

They actually stopped offering that this year.

Thanks for input... I think I get it now.

So the only gen. admission is being a student, or their guest. I guess I could hit up Facebook and see if any of my friends kids now go to Clemson an I could be their guest.

It's just hard to get a single ticket. Most people only want to let them go in pairs. I guess I could get two and take my mom. She hasn't been to a game since the 80's.

I think some employees get GA tickets***

Honestly, finding a cheap single for the BC game should not

be a problem outside the stadium.

Explain to the person that you will not be actually occupying the space and they may even go cheaper.

Just get to the gates a bit early. You will be fine.

I picked up two Wofford tickets from a Wofford fan for a 5 and 6 year old to get into that game for $7 each.

Then they just sat with us in our section, no big deal as long as you're polite and the kids behave.
