Some attentive UNC football fans are speculating that G.Chizik was hired a "head coach in waiting" and that their new co-D-Coodinator is the 'full time D-Coordinator in waiting' at UNC.

These same UNC football fans had made the obvious observation that most watchers of the Dukes Mayo Bowl had also drawn: Mack Brown looked confused and made poor coaching decisions, and that he won't be able to hang in as HC until he turns 75 (which was his alleged target age for retirement).

Chizik's kids in Alabama are out of HS, and Chizik can live full-time in Chapel Hill (as opposed to long distance commuting to his home Alabama when he was DC for L.Fedora's UNC teams.

All things considered, Chizik and the former IN D-coordinator look like two smart hires by UNC.

Have to wonder if that's been in the works for a while... And they were selling that to recruits. Just saying with the class they brought in and transferring in.
