Maybe the lamecocks should increase their coach's salary to the 8 million dollar/year range. (I hope they do!) After all, they beat the SEC mega powers: Florida, Auburn and Vanderbilt the year. I am certain that he will get them to the top 20 in wins in perhaps 100 years.

Would be nice to catch Auburn but then it only gets tougher after that. Georgia and LSU would have to be horrible for years for Clemson to catch them .

Those Michigan numbers are impressive, but don’t ignore the fact that they have a 17 year head start on Clemson (1879 vs 1896). Also, the longer the team was established, the more games they could schedule. Case in point, in 1896 Clemson had a 2-1 record while Michigan was 9-1.

source you are referencing. We have moved within 10 or 11 of Auburn so far this year. Gained at least 2 on Wittenburg as well (no bowl for them). Dabo has passed a lot of teams on that list during his tenure. Go Tigers and in Dabo we trust.
