That Clemson should play more SEC teams, yet would refuse to support our joining the SEC. SO they want us to play an SEC schedule without joining that league. What idiots!
Also, Clemson has played 2 SEC teams every year since 2008. I'm not certain but I believe no other NCAA team has played more SEC teams unless they were SEC members. What more do these Shame-cocks want?

and still play usuc and 1 other sec team ( insert sec team here),and the usuc fans would still say they play in the sec, so they have it MUCH harder than us.

Your friend is either and idiot or he's just jerking your chain. South Carolina would love to have Clemson join the SEC. That way they could enjoy the rivalry and free up a "slot" in which to add another powder puff to their schedule. Spurrier as much as said so in pre-season discusions about that prospect. Son't be sucker punched. Clemson will never leave the ACC, but that decision has nothing to do with football. The academics in the SEC are anemic at best. The President and Trustees of Clemson University are determined to provide superior academics. That would be entirely out of character within the SEC, with the exception of Vanderbilt. So let it go. We just need to get back to winning the ACC every year and we'll be fine. Go Tigers!
