Just look at Cole Strange being drafted in the first round. There is no way that guy would ever get NIL money to be recruited a top school.

Future guys like him will portal for better NIL

He finished his career as NIL shenanigans were being worked out. I think the big difference between him and future drafts is once "discovered", developed, or proven at smaller schools, guys like him will transfer to the highest bidder. They won't stay at a small schools.
