Profit baaaaaaad. You do realize that a good portion of large US corporations have their own internal minimum wage that is typically a lot higher than federal minimum wage, right?

$1k cell phones, multiple TVs, computers, laptops, multiple streaming services, etc.

Young kids having to play travel ball instead of the local rec.

Look at food. Growing up going out to eat was a huge treat. Now it's common place. More disposable income.

IMHO, you can't really compare the two since the lifestyles and available technology are completely different.
