Fun future question.......

I have a question that made me go hmmmmm. Regardless of who won, the UGA game was a renewal of a tremendous rivalry. It certainly was a reminder of days past. Next year we will be making the trip to Athens to play the dawgs between the hedges without Tajh. So my question is, who do you predict will be the starter at QB that game in Athens if you had to guess?

Stoudt is a really good backup. He's logged over 170 snaps so he has experience. But he's a backup. Sure he looked great in the Spring game. Has great numbers but mostly against Duke, Ball St., etc. I do think he's good.
But D.W. is a 5 star guy. He'll be on campus in January and I do think his athletic ability leads to him being the starter. He is one freshman that I'd let start on opening day. I think they'll start grooming him into that role from day one.

Which should tell you nobody knows.
The starter will be the player most prepared to play. I believe that.
Great problem to have.

True. I do think DW would be redshirted his first year. And that's not a bad thing. I think it'll only more prepare him to be even better.

but by all accounts Kelly is a great one. Assuming he can be 100% after his injury, he battles Cole for the start.
DW may be great in the future, but no way we throw a true freshman to the dawgs in Athens.

Good question. I think to a large degree the answer will be determined by whether or not Coach Morris is still here. I think it would likely be Cole. Given that at the time Kelly was hurt, Stout was ahead of him on the depth chart coupled with DW being a true freshman makes Stout the game 1 starter next season.
