Fsu/ ND game

Just finished watching the replay of last years game. ND has a lot of returning starters this year. I think they will be the best team we face this year. Thoughts?

Hard to be sure about ND. They always get accolades and high expectations just because they are ND. They have great athletes, almost always, but time will tell whether they live up to billing, or not. I seem to remember them getting high praise a couple of years ago only to get trounced by AL (albeit AL was a great team). I just hope we shock the world that day we play. It will be a huge win for us if we do, maybe the biggest in a long time from a national recognition standpoint.

However, I don't expect much competition from them. We will be a little bit seasoned by then w a tough road test at L'ville under our belt and a chance for our D to gel some. As long as DW is healthy, we win. Not saying we blow them out, but we are more talented and playing in the friendly (or not so friendly for opposing teams) confines of Death Valley.

it is an afternoon game, we destroy them. No way they can handle the heat in Death Valley. If we are unfortunate enough to have everyones wishes granted and play them at night .... it will be a long trip home! The best advantage Clemson has is a sweltering day game. Always

I hope this is an afternoon game as well. It could be humid even at night so we can hope the weather cooperates in our favor either way.
This will be among our most challenging games without question.

and just say they malfunctioned....do it again at halftime. No worse than those northern teams having grass a foot tall. Heck, I watched a game one year, and you could not see the players feet! Not kidding.

I put a lot of stock in the Coaches Poll and there is a reason they are ranked higher than us. The coaches know the talent we have and still ND is ranked one spot better.
What scares me is the ND game is starting to remind me of the FSU 2013 game. All the spotlight in the college football world we just have to handle it better than we did for FSU 2013.

I watched a little bit and felt a lot better when they mentioned Brian VanGorder is their DC.

FSU was very lucky to beat Clemson and Notre Dame last season. I don't see them being tat fortunate this season. And yes, ND may be the best team we have on our schedule this year. They are solid everywhere.
