It seems to me that he should accurately report the news, and not make the news he is reporting. Aren't bank accounts protected from the freedom of information act. If not, they should be!!!

In regards to the economic impact of the national title game

Isn't it common knowledge that schools don't profit directly from this? I've always heard that the real benefit is in increased student applications from the national exposure which in turn allows the university to be more selective and take higher caliber students. Sapakoff doesn't bother to address that aspect of it.
