strength of schedule HAS to be a major factor in the rankings.

Having an undefeated UCF ranked 12th, for example, is total BS when their SOS ranking is in the 110th range.

I'm sorry but if your SOS ranking is that bad, there is no circumstance under which you deserve a seat at the playoff table.

Will the same ring true when our SOS is in the toilet at the end of this year??. What if we are top four but there is a 1 L team which a higher SOS?

It’s all about access. If they don’t deserve to be there they will take their first round beating and go home. Still a meaningful game to watch in mid December. Better than the El Paso sun bowl.

I couldn't care any less about seeing UCF or Coastal playing one of the Power 5 schools in December. That's what non conference games are for in the regular season.

SOS is based off of preseason rankings by biased sports
