From a Vietnam Nam vet

To those of you who booed during the military oath, shame on you. Not only did you disrespect the Marine Corps general administering the oath and the young men and women about to risk all for their country, you injected a sour note into an otherwise moving and meaningful Military Appreciation Day. Those of us who served understand and respect the chain of command, regardless of politics.

I agree it was very disrespectful but to call it a boo is a stretch... it was more of a gasp. At least from what I heard. I did think it was very disrespectful though and should have been done. There have been plenty of presidents in the past that people disliked, but I just can't believe so many people had the nerve to take the focus of that moment for those soldiers and instead put it on their ignorant selves

Tigerfan, I don't know what you heard, but what I heard was definitely a boo, and it made me cringe, I thought the Clemson family had more class than to boo the leader of our country's office being invoked during an enlistment ceremony. Shame on those in the stadium that booed.

I did not boo, but I did tell the guy next to me to shut up

so I could listen to them say their oath. I may owe him an apology for my rudeness. However, in my defense, he did not remove his hat for the National Anthem or the Alma Mater and he talked all the way through the Alma Mater. Then, when the game started, he made a criticism every play. EVERY PLAY.Beginning before the game with the fans standing up, the running plays, the short plays, Tajh was terrible( he had two sacks in 3 plays and that was somehow his fault),why are we calling a timeout, defense can't dominate, running the same play too much. I MEAN EVERY PLAY!!! So, when the young men were taking their oath, and he saw fit to disrespect them too, I had had enough.
