Friday night - Northgate (tons of bars and restaurants)

Saturday - I’d recommend West Campus between the Basketball arena and Baseball Field (tons of tailgating)

I went in 2004 and am going Friday as well. The Northgate area that the Aggie recommends is probably what you're looking for in terms of bars. The iconic ones there are Dixie Chicken and Dry Bean, and there are alot of others as well. Just find Dixie Chicken and you're in the middle of it.

This time I am also going to try Chicken Oil Company and Carney's Pub, which I think are midway between Bryan and College Station.
