in front of the whole nation, I find no humor in watching their basketball coach go postal in a young player's face. That's not right. I know we joke about SCar being a classless institution but Martin is going beyond the pale.
Didn't we call this the day he was hired, though? He seems very tightly wound, like he's just seconds away from grabbing an automatic weapon and rampaging across campus. I wonder how badly SCar is regretting hiring him. I also wonder how many more strikes they're gonna give him before they release him into the coaching graveyard.

seriously doubt that young man is scarred for life. The problem is, Martin was on TV. I bet we've had a few coaches in the past that yelled at players, and even called them names.

did this no less than 5 times last night. Just saying.
The 1st timeout, when we seemingly couldn't stop Miami from scoring (they were 6-8 FG to start game) as the bench came out to meet the starters for the timeout huddle, Brownell looked at them and told them to GTFO and he proceded to blister the starters before addressing the entire team during the traditional timeout huddle.
He asked Harrison late in the game when UM was trapping and trying to play catchup if he knew ### we were running on offense. I laughed.
Sometimes the emotion of the game takes over. I do not, however, believe BB would ever humiliate a player to the point that Martin would.

I don't have an issue with coaches getting fired up and cussing. They all do it...I'm sure even Dabo has let some choice words fly on the sidelines. However Martin is making a personal attack, and that's not acceptable. If my coach called me an @$$hole, I'd seriously reconsider whether I wanted to remain on that team.

I disagree; lots of people said plenty about Bobby Knight and how he treated players. The difference was he was also winning and winning big, so his schools were willing to let it slide.
