just for kicks and giggles. There are bottles of Pappy Van Winkle on there for ~SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS A BOTTLE.
You would have to be a SIRIUS ConnieSour to even consider spending a huge chunk of change like that on a bottle of booze.
If I had one, I'd probably be so nervoused up handling it that I would drop it on the driveway on the way into the house. Then, I would just sit on the porch and cry, with nothing to drown my sorrows in.

I'm in Indiana. Buffalo Trace is funny, and I mentioned this in a bourbon thread here a week or two ago, but it can be hard to find. There's a liquor "super store" about 10-12 miles from my house that's the most reliable place to get it, but they only let you buy 1 bottle at a time, and they don't always have it. The last bottle I bought was $21.99, which is $1 less than I paid for it there before. You also see it at my local Kroger sometimes, for about $26. On the other hand, there's another pretty large chain liquor store nearby that never seems to have it. Seems to be a sort of anomaly...almost rare, sells out fast, but cheap. I wonder how long that will last.
I can also get Four Roses small batch for about $28, and single barrel for about $40, at multiple places. If you guys are paying $50...I assume that's for single barrel...I must be in a pretty good buyer's market for whiskey.

Buffalo Trace was my go to for a long time. Then started playing the field. Still a good drink, but I think I gots enuf for a while. Caint resist ever time I see it on sale.
