Forgot Tiger Town Graphics had this neat ball cap..

of ole Mac’s Drive-In..in White as shown and my fav Orange as well as Navy. Believe the Gray version is out-of-stock.

The side has ‘56 on it which I assume is the year started.

Ate there in 2019 at bar b/4 the big Texas A&M game which made it a span of 55 years since last time..and what a sweet experience with the tasty cheeseburger/fries & choc shake (so to clog up my heart arteries more) and the loud chatter from the diners around me looking at the big TV screens of games being played elsewhere while eye-balling the many old memorabilia of former Tiger greats encapsulated & framed for posterity.

If you’ve never been check out Mac’s..a mile past armory on way to Pendleton, on the left side, and half mile before the historical little downtown area. It ain’t much to see now nor was it years ago when in a different building but once inside it’s ALL-IN Clemson Tigers.

Oh, tell ‘em “LightBulb” Billy sent you. LOL~

Go Tigers..ROCK in 2022!

PS: Not promoting Store or restaurant so much as saying the cap is super history but maybe not as much as a cap from The ESSO Club which I bought again on Nov 28, 2021 while at JOE21’s Church Service. Wish Dan’s (Sandwich Shop) had thought of selling a cap back in 50’s & 60’s. How neat to own all 3.

Cause they sure as heck don’t want any.

I’ve always loved Macs because of it being a Clemson tradition but lately they seem to be trying extra hard to be jerks. Even more than they always have been.

I haven't been in Mac's in a few years. They were always set in their ways, so to speak.

My wife and I were at Mac's in '08 after work and Dabo came in and sat next to me on his 2nd day on the job. I knew exactly who he was and we had a nice conversation and I never asked anything about football because I knew he had a lot on his mind. The night before CJ was going to announce if he was going pro or not CJ came in and sat down next to me holding an autographed picture for Mac. I thought crap! We had a great conversation and I even got an autographed Mac's postcard for my nephew! Great memories.

Mac’s is OK if Dabo & CJ hung out there once..even though umpteen years ago and Mac was still around.


Things have changed but I enjoyed it in 2019.
