For those concerned about Cades arm strength

He doesn’t make this throw if he doesn’t have some zip behind the ball. He will need to get some of the arch off of his deep ball but that isn’t a strength issue it’s a release issue which I’m sure will get fixed. He might not have Trevor/DJ arm strength but he more then makes up for it with his touch and accuracy.

The ones concerned about his arm strength get up in the morning and complain that the sun came up .

No doubt about that, for some reason people have to find something to complain about these days. Think they have to do it to make themselves feel better ?‍♂️?‍♂️

If he had thrown it any lower, it would have knocked down.

Then you would have complained he is too short! Geez! Louize!

Time will tell but I would rather have accuracy and making the right throws.

Joe Montana lacked velocity … arm strength is over-rated.

Accuracy and touch are more valuable that pure arm strength.

Cade has both. All he needs is coaching and experience.

People will ignore this fact because the talking heads won’t tell them this.

Tom Brady has gotten by the past 6 - 8 years without any fastball.

As you and others had noted, the ability to be accurate (check) and the knowledge of where and when to throw it (which will be learned) are far more important than arm strength.

Very much looking forward to watching CK2’s development and enjoying the team’s success with him as our QB.

Cade was putting too much air under the ball.

He doesn't have an arm strength issue. He just needs to drop it in from a lower angle.

Count me in the surprised camp as what appeared to be average arm strength as some of his longer throws seemed to flutter. He was selected as the best QB (I thought) in the Elite 11 camp and accuracy and timing are more important anyway. Looking at his frame and considering his age I was guessing another 10 lbs and a year of maturity would improve things slightly so I'm not concerned - think he's going to be great. Spoiled from watching Trevor throw the ball - that was a one time deal. Bigger minds on here say it's mechanics and release point. Out of my depth so I'll just say he's going to improve all these things and be very successful.
