Dabo doesn’t/hasn’t had to deal with major coaching turnover every 1-2 years like Saban does.

I have my doubts but we’ll see what happens.

So if you hire from outside, you are hiring from outside our culture. I'm not saying he wont do that, but that would be a big risk to what he has built. Hiring from within, he is able to maintain culture, and trust me... Clemson is what it is today, b/c of the culture Dabo has built.

He goes and gets whatever big name coach he wants. These coaches are almost always big names already with HC experience or consideration. So it’s expected they won’t be around long.

180 opposite of how Clemson does it.

there is cause for concern bc Venables stood right next to Dabo during the build and dang near all the success. Not having Brent over there to bail us out time and time again when things go wrong is a tough loss. We'll get another good guy but you can help but wonder if it'll be the same. Venables had his moments too, but by and large he was the trump card the past 10 yrs.

Wouldnt surprise me a bit to lose a recruit or two and see the portal grow.
