Unless you like constant off-topic replies, people concerned with boosting their TNet rep/points/pulse, allegations of who is a coot, endless inside jokes, or political discussions there's not much to talk about here until we have a big win or loss.

An opinion as just an opinion is not a fact. It can be supported by facts bit by definition an opinion is not a fact... Except to say you have an opinion which is a fact. What you say or believe (aka your opinion) could be 100% factually inaccurate.
So what are the facts and what is your opinion?

sort of come out of the football closet, pro or con about the staff and team.
The difference in those days most all the discussions were vocal...very vocal...in fact loud, obnoxious and vitriolic after losses. Poor ole Frank Howard never knew how many times he was fired and rehired, and our team members were either strongly supported or roundly dissed, depending on individual or team performance.
I suppose our passions for the game bring out the best and worst in us, for all of us have engaged in raving or ranting, and CU fans outside the alumni are the same.
An old, close friend of 40+ years had two sons attend CU, and the poor fellow has nearly suffered apoplexies over bad plays and losses over the years, usually "firing" the entire staff over losses. Problem is the next great victory sees him calling the staff "the best in the business." So, even amid my own carrying on, I've kind of learned to roll with the punches, accepting the fact that this is the nature of the beast.
