Why would the coaching staff invite recruits to this game rather than next week’s against GT? I will be surprised if the stands are full, and a game like this is not going to give them a true sense of the place.

After almost 2 years since we've had a full stadium, it boggles the mind that folks wouldn't flock to Clemson for a football celebration.

It is the SCST, but it is also the home opener. Still going to be some buzz for the opener. Bet the team is also looking to make a splash and rebound from last week.

Coaches probably have a lot more time available for recruits in games like these vs higher profile games where they have much more media and interview obligations. Plus the would likely feel the need to coach up the team more for higher profile matchups.

Just a guess but makes sense to me.

Maybe they're just bringing in O-line recruits because they figure the O-line may actually get a little push against these guys
