I am different. I have tried and true suggestions I’ve learned in my years around the ball field...
1) Keep your eye on the ball.
2) Wait on your pitch.
3) Choke up on the bat.
4) Infield go 1, Outfield go 2.
I think if we focus on these keys, we will see tremendous improvement within just a few games.

That’s got to be the answer. Thanks for sharing. I fear that Tiger hitters NEVER get their pitch!!! I would like to know how many KOs the Tigers have had this year. They must average more than a dozen a game.
I’d really like to see this team try to make something happen. When nothing is working it’s time to make some changes. Stepping up to the plate and letting the pitchers throw three strikes by you gives you almost NO chance to win !

Team. I will make sure to pay more attention to your baseball posts because you seem very well informed and possibly could be a mentor for me. I hope that you do not mind if I bug you with questions on occasion, probably just on the more nuanced aspects of the game?
For instance, when choking up on your bat, you do this with both hands or just your dominant one?

I was under the impression talent mattered, so it's nice to learn that a few rules of thumb can level the playing field for those who have none

Old timers will tell you baseball is won by going out there and just having fun. Have you not noticed how much fun our opponents have when facing us
