Fisher on Winston's comments, potential playing time impact

From Florida State boards . . .

During the ACC Teleconference on Wednesday, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher addressed the comments by Jameis Winston on Tuesday that got national attention.

"Everything has been addressed and we're getting ready for the game," Fisher initially said.

Fisher was then asked if it would impact Winston’s playing time on Saturday against Clemson.

"We're deciding,” Fisher said. “We’re talking as things go on right now."

The comments were not taken lightly by Fisher.

"It was not a good decision.. It was something that has to be addressed," Fisher said.

"You can't make statements that are derogatory ... you have to understand that," Fisher added.
