First time online Ticket buying

Jan 2, 2020, 6:52 AM

What is the safest and most recommended site to purchase tickets. I am flying in from out of country so looking for the best way to get the tickets also. I will have to pay by credit card as I do not have paypal.

Thanks in advance

Stubhub.com is very safe. I've bought national championships from them before. They will typically have a ticket pickup location a block or so away from the stadium so you can walk there and get your tickets in person (unless they are digital tickets, in which case you will have them on your phone).

That said, get ready to pay very high fees.

But, in my opinion, going this route is much better than risking $1000+ on a stranger in the parking lot. There are always a lot of scammers selling fake tickets. Companies like Stubhub can't afford to be anything other than honest and reputable.

Thanks appreciate it. I am already prepared for sticker shock. No matter me and the wife will be going. I haven't seen a live game since I was a student. So excited.

I’ve got two extra for sale that are by my other two seats. They are IPTAY seats and I will give you a better deal than you can get On StubHub. I do feel bad for the pricing but I lost a lot of money on my tickets in last years Natty game and this years Fiesta Bowl and no one was going around offering me face value then because I was a Clemson fan! Lol!!! Anyway...if you are interested then text or call me at 910-540-2849. I can also accept credit cards through my business so that’s no problem! All tickets are mobile transfer and I’ve been an IPTAY member for 10 plus years and never had an issue at all! Thanks!!!

Plus fees...cheapest you can get is around $1200 with the fees and those are mostly rows 20 and above...only 22 tickets available on stubhub for under. $1000 and again...then there are approx $300 In fees per ticket...but to answer your question $1250 each.

Stubhub is safe, but you'll be paying 30-40% extra in fees..

Jan 2, 2020, 8:46 AM

if you're looking to pay $1,000 or less out the door then you'll have to wait for stubhub tickets to drop to around $750 or less.

For the last 2 championship games I used SeatGeek.

There are lots of safe places to buy. Most brokers share their inventory everywhere so Stubhub, seatgeek, etc. all have the same inventory.

Demand seems strong. Prices are up from 2-3 days ago.

When I came home my wife bought me one ticket from Hubstub after taking your guys advice. Section 141 row 17. $2900 ticket plus stubhub fee 1000 and she bought insurance $243 if something happens at work and I can’t go. All in all $4200 a gift from my wife who gave up her half of going so I could have my dream.

Please tell me you did not buy from that site. It looks like a phishing site. And why in the world would you pay $1000 fee?

What company charged your card?????

Please be very careful buying tickets from individuals. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Buy from Stub Hub and have the peace of mind. The last thing you want is to be at the gate 30 min before kickoff and your mobile ticket is fake and you’re out a few thousand dollars. This happened to a buddy of mine in Tampa. He was in tears when I ran into him at the gate.
