Is there a modern dad dress code?

I've lived my life always trying to look as poor as possible (when not at work). Old black man I used to work for back in HS taught me that, and he (RIP) was one of the wealthiest dude's I've ever met.
I've been taking my daughter to daycare, and noticed that the other bros dropping their kids off are rockign some of the new age ####. them tight sweat pant things. flashy shoes. raybans. t-shirts with a hood (makes absolutely no sense to me). tight jeans. the stocking cap not over the ears thing. flat bills. etc. etc.
So do other parents judge your kids based on stuff like this, in this day and age? I'm pretty hellbent on not changing, just want to psychologically put myself in a position to circumvent this through ulterior methods of inception.
Is this a problem b/c I'm in metro Nashville where people think Florida Georgia line is music and Luke Bryan is more country now wearing rhinestone jeans than he was in Lee Co. GA running KMC tractors?

grade) in running shorts or joggers and a tie-dye tshirt usually. IDGAFF what the other parents think nor do I care what my daughter thinks. One of the black ladies at the elementary school told me I have nice legs though.

I've met exactly two bonafide billionaires.

When I spoke with each of them, they were wearing cammo and were driving a beat up, dirty, muddy, pickup trucks. Actually one had an OLD beat up suburban. Both as down to earth as they come. You would NEVER know......really.
Trick is to dress to the nines, only when necessary, then be a bum the rest of the time.

Sounds more like a Nashville/wealthy new-South city thing.

It may also be a combination of white collar folks working from home (allowing casual dress) while still wanting to buy expensive clothes. I will see some people dressed like that, normally at the grocery store. It looks ridiculous.
People at the daycare dropoff for us are mostly in work clothes.

do on IOP. Seems like most people over here just drive beat up old Toyotas or somethin'. I mean you see the occasional Ferrari or Lambo, but I assume most of those are Wild Dunes renters.
Sullivan's is a different animal over there--I've gotten to where I generally don't like that place.
Both places will be private islands in 20-25 years so I guess it doesn't matter

Over the age of 20 who doesn't play professional baseball wears those flat-brimmed caps. They look they're Lego people.

Other than that, I've dressed the same for the last 20 years. The puffer vest makes the outfit complete for kid pickup/dropoff.

it's the new one. there are a lot of tags from the city county...thinking that plus the influx of the California people is playing into it.
We're the only folks here that we've met so far who moved north to get here. Literally and metaphorically of course.

but sweatpants have been my mistress the past (almost) 2 years of WFH...SheGUAR got me a pair of cheap 'joggers' from Target (All in Motion brand? something like that...) fit nice, show the junk just enough, zip pockets (i call them my business sweats)...
they're great. I'm now up to 4 pairs, and have even worn them in public a few times.
FIGHT. ME.

And it largely is for those that post photos daily on instagram. Gotta dapper up, and can't wear the same thing twice while posing with #myrideordie and #babbygurl.

I wear jeans and polo shirts or flannel shirts to work

jeans and plain tees or flannel shirts on weekends.
I basically dress similar to how I always have since middle school. My first couple years out of college I had to dress a bit better because I had to, but I started my own engineering company 4 years out of school after only a year as a PE.
I do have a 20 year old sport jacket that I wear once or twice a year and I never wear a tie even if everyone else is.
