First basketball game I’ve seen this year

Nice win. Played tough down the stretch. Hard to believe we stayed in it with Tyson scoreless in the first half and Hunter shooting 1/12. Could have easily put it away in regulation by making free throws.

Since this is the first game I have seen I do have a question for y’all who have seen more. I know PJ is still on the mend but why did we have Scheffler in at the end of regulation instead of Middlebrooks? Middlebrooks looked much more solid when he was in earlier in the second half. Has Schedfler been a lot better in other games?

Win a ton of games shooting 50-55% from 2 and 3pt land. Shocked that psu picked to finish 11th in b1g. B1g must be loaded. Didn't realize we were favored to win... good p5 win nonetheless.

Good basketball game. I thought the freshmen played well in the firat half. Clemson needed it too since C Hunter did not score. Beadle came up big once C Hunter fouled out. I don't recall 1 dunk in this game. When was the last time you seen that in a high major game? Very good win!

I have seen all the games at home and Middlebrooks has performed at a level below the play of Schieffein.

Thanks. I figured that must have been the case. Middlebrooks looked really good at the start of the second half so that’s all I had to go by.

Both are terrible. I was amazed when Middleton made 2 free throws in OT.

Yes, Schiefflein has been better if you check his stats. This was probably Middlebrooks best game and I expect he will continue to improve. Scheiflein can spread the floor better and Middlebrooks brings muscle when needed. Game situations will dictate who plays when.
