There were several miracles over the 13 years.
I would also point to several ACC programs who have played the rotating coach game and still suck plus a ton of debt from buyouts.

Making the tournament is a good year, he inherited a program at that level. So, it’s more like 3 in 12 not 1 in 10.

with new AD coming in. THANK God he made the most of it and showed what he should have years ago. THis season could be THE turning point most have waited for decades in Clemson Bball.

Let the past Go! Clemson Basketball was a lot further behind the other schools than our football program was but it took Dabo 6 years to turn it around.
Give Brad the praise he deserves for making History and the only basketball HC to do so.

We were a consistent tourney team when he took over. We spent millions renovating our facilities. We took a step back with Brownell. Hopefully, this is the start of getting us back there. The energy felt more like it did in 2009 than it has in a while. He’s got something going right now. I hope he’s embraced change and can take advantage.

Also the wrong board, however since you are here I am pleased that we are winning finally. It is probably the weakest the ACC has been in my lifetime. Glad he has a decent team, however I hope we won't look like TCU in championship in March Madness.

Several donors stepped up in themselves if NIL which has helped tremendously. Before NIL CBB was at a big disadvantage but the playing is more level than before. At least we have a fighting chance

Maybe you can just be grateful that, thirteen years into his tenure, he is having some notable success.
Yes, I have been one of MANY who thinks he has been given more time than anyone deserves in this role. But I'm glad that we find our Tigers in position to win a regular season conference title for the first time in 32 years (I remember it well and was shocked to realize it was that long ago).
Again, I am thrilled we are having a great season, but this kind of post wants me to translate his years as head coach into football terms.
2010-11: 8-4, bowl loss
2011-12: 6-6
2012-13: 5-7
2013-14: 8-4, bowl win
2014-15: 6-6
2015-16: 7-5
2016-17: 7-5, bowl loss
2017-18: 10-3, New Year's bowl win
2018-19: 8-4, plus bowl win
2019-20: 6-6
2020-21: 8-4, bowl loss
2021-22: 6-6
If we had that kind of performance in football, would you all be happy and how much patience would you have shown the head coach?
