Really 81? Name me a coach living or deceased that could have taken our talent and defeated Duke tonight. Brad may be fired but it will not because we lost tonight.

How can you defend Brownell?! Name his accomplishments other than being a nice guy! Seriously. If you’re satisfied with the job he’s done you probably scratched your head when Hatfield and Bowden were fired. BB made the tournament more with Oliver Purnell’s players than his own. Come on, man! The coach is responsible for the talent on the floor. If Loyola Marymount can build a final four team Clemson should be able to also. Brownell doesn’t recruit well and couldn’t coach if his life depended on it. I guess you’d be happy if he were your financial advisor?! Rhetorical. But, any other business and he’s have been gone long ago. Best is the standard and he is far from it. So puzzled at blind cheerleaders who are afraid to call out mediocrity.

GIVE IT A BREAK MAN! We got beat by a better team tonight. Some nights we beat a better team and sometimes we lose to a lesser team. It It works that way, especially when you’re without two starters.

The problem is that Brownell was given full control. The transfer portal opened up to him. He doesn’t recruit well. He can’t coach. Numbers don’t lie.

Let's face it, with Tyson and Collins we lost to Duke without one of their best players, without Tyson and Collins we had no chance against Duke.

I have said that I thought if Brownell could get us to the tournament that he deserved to keep his job and I still believe that. Well, we're not going unless we win the ACC tournament. If that happens, great, but there is no reason not to be prepared. I hope that a search committee is being formed or already has been. Graham Neff, it's time to earn your pay.
