Freshman quarterback/wide receiver Will Taylor suffered a season-ending injury in Saturday’s win over Boston College, sources have confirmed to TigerNet. Last year was bad for Injuries as well. But this year has been absolutely awful!

Seems like every MLB GM would tell the family that Will's MLB draft stock is now already diminished and will be toast with a 2nd ACL. Can't imagine Will would risk that.
Glad he gave football a go, however brief.

So he’s on a FB scholarship to attend Clemson. If he leaves football, then Clemson gets alot more expensive because I don’t think he would be allowed to play baseball while receiving the FB scholarship unless there’s some loophole about leaving the FB team due to injury. He can’t go the pro baseball route immediately so what would he do now? I think he rehabs and keeps moving forward with both sports at Clemson.

which would mean if he got injured again in the future he could get a 6th year. The only way to get the extra year is if both redshirts were injury related.

Tough news. I tore mine last year and I am good to go.
Will ia a young buck and he will heal much faster (I'm older than oatmeal)!!
Hope we get to see him play again soon. Get the surgery, and do the rehab.

I cried when I read this earlier. I posted it but I guess the mods didn't want it out there. Anyway, sent prayers to the family. I trust he and his family will make the correct decision for his future.
Until, just pray for his health number one. Amari came back in 5 months from an acl. DW4, two. If anyone can, young Mr Taylor can.
There was never any doubt in my mind that he would be our next Renfrow. The kids an absolute baller. He has an innate will to win. His faith is strong. He'll be back.

So ...we get all of our “bad luck” this year..OK?
This is MY football team...I support Dabo and his
decisions almost 100%. Just WISH he would give
a serious look at Willie Korn OC at Coastal. If we need
change I would think it would be at the OC job. Maybe
Tony and Jeff fed off of each other. Willie seems to be
a complete package......Just saying.

Willie Korn (former Clemson QB) is a co-offensive coordinator and QB coach at Coastal and has only had that job for 2 years. He's basically their version of Brandon Streeter. What makes you think Korn is ready to run Clemson's offense?
