FINALLY!! A Major Bowl Agreement Reached Between The ACC...

May 25, 2012, 9:19 AM

...and the Colonial Athletic Association.

Beginning in 2014, the champions of each conference will square off on December 12th in Palo Alto, California, for the "Facebook IPO Bowl."

The guaranteed payout per team is expected to be in the neighborhood of 100 Billion shares each. No word on what that actually means in financial terms, but Facebook executives were quoted as saying "It's a really big number, trust us."

The new Billionaires went on to say that "Fans who want to have their teams considered for this bowl should click the "like" button on the bowl's new Facebook page and ask to be our friend; we also want to encourage folks to believe every rumor they hear on the internet, especially Facebook, concerning the future of college football in America. After all, Facebook is the most trustworthy source of information on the net, eh commrade?"

Facebook is currently accepting bids on TV rights for the game from Raycom, The Hallmark Channel, and Univision.

(Sorry, my Friday morning sarcasm got the best of me...)

Remember when the ACC champion was locked into the Citrus Bowl (currently Capitol One)? After the football schools leave the ACC then the ACC champion will go to the Charlotte Bowl to play the Big12 #8.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.
