Trump had GM, Ford and dozens of other companies working on supplying ventilators along with other health equipment and supplies. He has other things in the works too like manufacturing of the combo drugs and other medications.

Did you reckon that these companies weren't going to be paid to do this? Did you not relate the bill passed in the house today to that compensation? Have you really not figured out that he promised gov funds and declaring DPA was the paperwork on them tapping into the half a trillion $s the fed will be loaning to companies?

He didn't need to use the DPA until now. He had Detroit and everyone else cooperating without it. He just needed congress to fund the deal.

How many times have we hear, 'Use your head for something...?'

When we all know his record on slow playing this pandemic. But at least the ventilators, hopefully, will start being produced at a higher rate.
