Fedora Pre-Game Speech

Dec 7, 2015, 10:08 AM

Anyone know what Fedora was referring to when he said something along the lines of, "What happened out there on that field doesn't show respect." Did something happen pregame when the players were warming up, or was he just creating something to rile his team up?

I want the Tigers to keep playing tough, but to stay classy at the same time.

Screw what he says or thinks.***

During the pre-game, both teams were using the same field entrance (a la Miami). After the pregame warmups, Clemson finished earlier and was on the far side of the field. They started to run in to the locker room along the far side line, but the end zone was occupied by a crowd of UNC players. UNC was lining up for their final "full scale" field goal (I think) and because there wasn't a clear way to the locker room, they cut between the field goal teams and the other players to get to the entrance/exit.

I thought it was strange at the time, but there also wasn't a clean way to exit without somehow running into the UNC players.

I could see how they might make a big deal out of it, although it was kind of minor in the big scheme of things...
