The statement at issue was that "the Texas synagogue hostage taker's demands were specifically focused on issues not connected to the Jewish community."
What were his demands? Can't seem to find out anywhere. Maybe they weren't released?

Thanks, I did miss that. Did the second press release mention the guy's demands though? It could have been about the guy who was jailed... he was mentioned in the story you linked.
