ESPN has moved past bringing in pickers with university ties and is just bringing in whoever the biggest name is that they can get that week.

Pop Culture... Ole Miss had Katy Perry, Real USC had Will Ferrell, and so on...
Bill Murray was great for us, but he will assuredly never be invited back to the show after assaulting Corso in the most unexpected and hilarious on-air moments of live television.
Millions of people love House of Cards... and people think that Pres. Frank Underwood is badath... associating him with Clemson makes us go up a hundred points in the cool dept. with people who care about such things.
I am all for it. While I think there are people who are more meaningful to Clemson from our perspective, the outside perspective and perception towards Clemson would skyrocket with this appearance.

Frank Underwood would be great! I think the cultural cross pollination from HOC and Clemson would be great!
Being in the cable industry though I think about network competition and wonder if all of the competition between Disney (ESPNs parent company) and Netflix would prevent something like this.
