The last time $CU played in this bowl game (1/2/10), they lost to UConn 20 - 7

Birmingham is a city in Alabama , right ? So , would the Coots get to tour the Alabama Crimson Tide trophy room ? That would be a nice perk for a bunch of lovable losers like the USuCk Spurriers.

They could probably arrange that. Spurrier and Saban are tight. Saban must have a secret drinking problem or something.

The Birmingham Bowl is..

Nov 24, 2014, 11:16 AM

The Birmingham Bowl (formerly known as the PapaJohns.com Bowl and the BBVA Compass Bowl) is a post-season NCAA-sanctioned Division I-A college football bowl game approved in April 2006

I thought Georgia Tech was going to be in the Orange Bowl (unless it is after a loss in the ACC Championship, we will get in)

Re: FB Update: CBSSports.com Bowl Projection for Clemson

Yes, GT will lose to FSU in the ACC Championship. They probably also lose to UGA.

Re: FB Update: CBSSports.com Bowl Projection for Clemson

Nov 24, 2014, 1:35 PM [ in reply to Re: FB Update: CBSSports.com Bowl Projection for Clemson ]

Highest ranked ACC team is in. If GT loses to UGA and/or FSU they probably fall in the ranking. The question becomes who is ranked higher between Clemson and Louisville.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgmilitary_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea, I agree that....

Nov 25, 2014, 8:53 AM

GT probably loses their last two games and then it is down to us and UL. With the ND win last week and possible domination performance against UK, UL may jump us in the rankings, despite us beating them. The Orange Bowl may prefer it also .

Really, we need GT and UL to lose on Saturday.

Why not the Peach or Russell Athletic if the Orange doesn't

Nov 24, 2014, 1:14 PM

pan out?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Why not the Peach or Russell Athletic if the Orange doesn't

Nov 24, 2014, 1:36 PM

Peach is selected by CFP Committee. We probably won't be ranked high enough to go there.
