I guess Fauci is free to spout such "heretical" statements. Don't try this at home.
So COVID hospitalization numbers are inflated. Why?
Whatever happened to the role of the primary diagnosis and its relation to the chief complaint of the patient upon admission?
COVID is a serious issue. It has indeed killed a lot of folks, but we have been fed less than honest information.

from his statement. If you watch the video, no idea why he didn’t post it, but his point was exactly that numbers are inflated.
If he just posted the video, along with his commentary, it would make more sense.

How someone can come to that conclusion is beyond me. If the kid is in the hospital for Leukemia it is likely that's what they are reporting even though the kid may have Covid. They won't say the chold is there due to Covid. That's what Fauci is saying.

In hospitals for all reasons. You then see a doubling of broken arms and appendicitis. I think those were his examples.
And you can blame influenza. Think 54 of the 9000 people in SC hospitals right now are there for influenza issues.
Then the CDC halves quarantine without a single viral load study. Oh yeah... They don't do those. Of 37 or something confirmed Omicron cases in Taiwan, no one got a CT value over 30 until day 8. The last to get a higher than 30 value was 12 days. Values higher than 30 indicate you are not shedding the virus. 8 to 12 days is the range and the average is 10 days. What the rule WAS.
Anyway that's the science. I think the reality of a viral shutdown instead of a government one is the real reason. Definitely a pivot by the Fauci/CDC beaurocrats.
And if hospitals are better than Delta, and remain that way, it's the right decision. We will know in a month.

It was brought to my attention previously. He went on to say it's kids (and adults) with appendicitis and broken arms who tested positive since everyone is tested upon entering the hospital.
You can believe that if you trust him.

That covid death count is total bs.
I dont know if it's 10%, 20, 30, 50% inflated, but it's definitely inflated.
Problem is, if you ever said that you were a conspiracy wacko. CDC even distinguished died with Covid but if you brought that up, you were a.wacko.

they test you for covid, because they test everyone for covid, and you are covid positive. You are included in the covid hospitalization numbers. Clearly you are not there because of covid.
It is really not that hard to understand.

It really should not be hard to understand. If you go to the hospital with Leukemia they won't say you are there for Covid. There is a difference.

I stand corrected. I wish more hospitals did that. It would give us a better sense of what is going on. Also instead of saying most or 80% or whatever the number is that are unvaccinated with covid, it would be nice if they gave us the actual numbers.
