You guys can discuss the mistrial stuff, etc., but the video transfer issue happens to us a lot - son has Android and if we send him a video from iPhone it is crappola.
Techies might be able to answer why this happens?

it compresses the video if you email or text it to fit, making it look like crap.
Lately we've been using the linkshare thing with Samsung where you upload the full size video, and send a link then they can view it at full resolution. The uploads auto delete after 2 days. Been a real game changer and would probably make the video look good on both phones.
Data permitting of course.

If you upload your photos to a cloud like Google photos, just share to the cloud.
The photos and videos will be as is. No degradation
|

I think if you post a pic from google photos here, it ties the image back to your gmail acct. meaning, you'd be putting your gmail acct on t-net. I'm not 100% sure it's like this, but I remember seeing it on another forum

I just made that up, but there is roughly a 10% chance it's in the ballpark of the actual issue.
I'm on a text group with like 7 or 8 other guys. ONE guy out of 9 has an Android, and anytime anybody sends a video, it gets compressed down into this grainy, unwatchable, pointless thing. Even the iPhones sending to other iPhones, that lone Android fecks it all up. One of the group created a separate text thread without the Android guy, just to share videos.
