Fake news and fake reviews

I saw the worst movie I have possibly ever seen last night. It is called Wrong Place with Bruce Willis.
I glanced at Rotten Tomatoes and it had a critic review of 0% but and audience approval of 61%, so we are like, eh, what do the critics know anyway?
Upon closer inspection 95% of the audience reviews were 1 star or less, yet it still had a 61% approval!?
This is a conspiracy of the highest magnitude! Check it out yourself!
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/wrong_placeWrong Place Frank (Bruce Willis), a former police chief of a small town, finds himself being hunted down by a meth kingpin seeking to silence him before he can deliver eyewitness testimony against his family, but ultimately finds himself up against more than he bargained for when he threatens to harm Frank's daughter (Ashley Greene).

While a great movie, it's hard to put that over Die Hard.

That Die Hard is a Christmas Movie. Sir withdraw your libelous position or I will be forced to send more strongly-worded replies.

When it comes to movies, it's one of those "I don't know

art, but I know what I like" deals. "Lost in Translation" got Oscar consideration, but I personally thought it was one of the worst major Hollywood movies I have ever seen. I watched it, and when it was over, I STILL didn't know what it was supposed to be about. It really WAS lost in translation, I guess.
As far as THE worst movie I have ever seen, that dishonor would have to go to an old Terrance Stamp movie titled "The Limey". It was absolutely awful, and that's being kind.
Also, hard to believe a movie about disarming bombs, and bombs blowing up, could be boring, but I thought "The Hurt Locker" was. I gave it two toots of intestinal gas DOWN.

While we are on the subject of ole Bill....
My dad meet him once at a golf charity tournament in Charleston.
Apparently everyone was so respectful of his privacy that no one would talk to him! Ha! Dad said he wondered around aimlessly for a bit then walked up to my dad and started some small talk about the sliders they were serving.
Dad said that they talked a while and he was super nice.

Not love, but liked.
I do love me some Scarlett Ingrid Johansson so that most likely influenced my appreciation for the film. Though she was only 20 or so at the time so at that stage I just liked her and saw promise.
Speaking of Scarlett - Ryan Reynolds was married to her 2008-2011…then married Blake Lively in 2012. Another reason I’m a Ryan Reynolds fan. Main reason is Deadpool and that fine @ss! Though I give the nod to Chris Evan’s Captain America in an @ss oft.
