we had in our entire class last year...and it's only June.

Right now, we have 17 commits and 8 FOUR STARS. (with room for probably 8 more commits)

Last year, we had 17 total commits and 7 FOUR STARS.

Sure, last year we had 6 FIVE STARS, but that'll likely never happen again, and just because they were 5 Stars, they could turn out to be busts. (I'm not counting Belk in that total... he made it 7)

Also, most of the time, 5 star guys commit later in the process. And even if we don't get as many this year, Trevor Lawrence doesn't need 5 star guys surrounding him.

Also, at least half of our 3 star commits will be 4 stars

after a few more months. Clemson is now one of the schools where the services will bump the guys up similar to Bama.

A Clemson offer is a big deal.

we are lowering our standards in order to sign 30 guys this year when we've only needed to sign 20 or less the last two cycles.
