If Andrew Booth doesn't go in the first round, then somebody

isn't paying attention. Butt, although he CERTAINLY has first round ability, teams draft according to their needs, for the most part. The only constant exception to that rule used to be the Dallas Cowboys under Tom Landry. They would "take the best player available" at the time of their pick, and then make trades to fill their needs if the player taken happened to be at a position of strength for them. Seemed to work pretty darn well for them for a whole lot of years.

decisions are now made with one criteria in mind. What will put our egomaniacal, surgically altered, owner’s face on TV for the longest amount of time possible. Nothing else is considered.

I agree. He hurt himself by not working out at the combine

I don't see Booth as 1st Round but NFL scouts and execs know what they are doing so hopefully he will be drafted tonight.

I think that if he had been healthy enough to do the workouts, he would have gone in the first round, second round seems about right considering that there are several top DB's in this draft.

Personally, I think he will be a late 1st rounder. He will be going to either the Patriots or Bills.

The laughable thing is him being the 5th best corner. I get the boy from Cincinnati. But that LSU corner has sucked for two years. His freshman year was his only good year.

Big mistake in not grabbing booth in first round. This guy hasn’t come close to peaking. He’s just getting started.

With Stingley going 3rd, it looks likely. DB is everything in the NFL. Most important position on Defense in today's NFL.
