At the people who think they are conservative anarchist freedom lovers when really they're just begging for some authoritarian to take power and push their own personal beliefs.

Putin has legitimate arguments from a statist point of view.

There's the Minsk Accord and the Ukraine's complete violation of it for 7 years and there's the broken deals with NATO and on and on and on.
I don't support Putin any more than I support any other government stooge, but when comparing two evils he is the lesser in this case.

He's a sociopathic dictator.
For someone who claims to hate authoritarian government overreach, you sure, well, don't.
He has zero legitimate arguments for this invasion.

Trudeau and Biden are not attempting to conquer other nations; they are doing their best to censor free speech under the general guise of a 'greater good' narrative.
To the citizens of the USA, the actions by the Democrats and their lap-dog Biden -and- their acolytes in the high tech world (Google, Twitter, FakeBook, Amazon [data storage], Microsoft) and in the media (pretty much all of the major TV News Networks ... including the new woke Fox News) to restrict free speech is the single most dangerous threat to the future of the USA.
Oh yes, and the majority of Republicans (the Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham, Mitch McConnell, etc. types) are also completely on board with what the Democrats are doing vis a vis restricting free speech. (They just don't like it when the
Trudeau's faster and more aggressive approach is a next-door-neighbor template that the Democrats and most Republicans are watching Trudeau's get-tough totalitarian leanings closely. The "our guys" politicians are going to learn what happens (the bad stuff) as Trudeau over-plays his hand.
Summary: Biden (because he's in office now) and Trudeau (as our evil next-door neighbor) are more dangerous to the USA at this moment than Putin.

None.
What he did say, and I agree with it, is that in Biden's term there has been no communication of vision or strategy. From the immediate kids-in-a-candy-store 867 EOs pushing ideological agendas, it has been all about ideology. Every appointment, every tweet, every press conference, has been about ideology.
So now we find our bluff being called by a guy who reads the situation and is willing to take risks based on the situation handed to him. (This is where you say I am "praising Putin".) The needed response to such a situation is (1) these are our national interests (2) this what is worth sacrificing lives over (2) this is what we want the end result to be and (2) this is what we will therefore do. We need to play the long game, act rather than react, and do so according to a plan that recognizes what is our business and what is not. Nothing along those lines has been communicated from Biden. I don't think he can even think that way right now. So who is actually determining foreign policy? Anyone who says they know is lying.
That is what Carlson is saying. The msm is, predictably, turning this into a partisan war. Russia vs Ukraine is being framed as Rep vs Dem, a completely manufactured take. The admin is going along with that, so that is what seems to be driving our foreign policy. Partisan politics. They are so afraid of Putin they'll fight Trump instead. Carlson is right in calling this out.
So, I've answered your question. What would you do? Invade Ukraine and fight a war with Russia? If not, why are you upset that some are, rightfully, saying that Putin has wisely maneuvered himself into a situation where he can do this?
This is about a partnership between Russia and China. Some people have been saying this for years. But we are so busy fighting a local partisan war nobody wants to face that. So, again, what would you do? Invade Ukraine? Carlson says "No", and you don't like that. So, how would you do this invasion?
