It should NEVER be acceptable to lose to your instate rival. If you don't agree then get the #### out the way! Go watch the Tyra show or cupcake wars and leave the sports to the men.
Their streak ends this year and if we manage to get a good lead going into the 4th quarter, Dabo better pile on the points...sportsmanship my ###. Stand behind your comments on USuK Dabo and STICK AND TWIST!!!

I've never gotten the "acceptable" argument. Does anyone accept that we're going to lose next year? I doubt it. Does anyone not accept that we lost last year? If not, they're an idiot. What's done is done. We have to go from where we are.

Who has said it acceptable to lose to them? I'm not saying there are absolutely none, but personally I haven't seen nor heard of anyone.
By the same token, there are some morons who said a football season is a failure if we lose to the coots, regardless of what else we do. That's just dumb.

i hate their fans, their school, their city, their coaches, etc, but to say a season is a bust because we lose to a team that is top-10 nationally is ludicrous. they are at the zenith of their programs history, which sux outloud, but it won't last forever. 4 in a row is more than enough, we WILL win this november. the hof hc they have got is going to be to old to golf if he doesn't give it up soon, so don't expect him to stick around to much longer. we have caught and surpassed them, finally, in talent all over the field. we have the coaches - and systems- to beat the snot out of'em, and we will this november. and once sos leaves, expect us to match and surpass the streak they are currently on.

People accept it by saying USuC's a better team

Fact is, we were leading at the half. Had a good game plan going then ditched it. We punted on a 4th and 10 conceding the game and what did we do with 4th and 16 against LSU? We freaking went for it and look how that turned out.
I'm tired of hearing this drivel about the overall record. It's sounds pathetic. I want a #### win and I want it come November. If, God forbid, we were to lose, I wouldn't call for Dabo's head...but I'd make it perfectly clear that losing to so called 'good' teams is no longer acceptable when you are trying to be the best. If your eyes are set on a NC title, then you should have the mentality to say 'we can go toe to toe with anyone in the country.' Not, 'well, we lost to a good team.' To #### with that. This team has the talent to get it done...now all we need do is DO IT!
The better this team gets, the more that is going to be expected of Dabo...it's that simple. This shouldn't be a revelation to anyone...

If margin of defeat is important to you since you say we lost by 10 instead of what would have been 17, then would it not be better to lose by 3 instead of 10? I just blew your mind...admit it.
Fact is, there is no way for anyone to predict the outcome of the game had some things been changed...especially in a game that could have been won...we were NOT over matched. Not more excuse d@mn it! I want a W...no exceptions.

I agree totally a loss is a loss whether by 10 or 17 it does not matter. I felt as though we gave up at that point. Look at the Lsu game we go on 4th down and make it , some people would have thought it was not a bad idea to punt it and then use timeouts and maybe get one more shot. We took a chance and look how it worked out.

Your assuming the worst of the scenarios and to be quite honest, it doesn't sound like it was going to change the outcome (at that particular point) so why not go for it? Why not lose with some dignity. It was obvious we couldn't stop them with our secondary. The whole point is the mentality. Punting at that moment felt like conceding. I want to go out guns blazing...then, at least we can say we tried.
What were we ranked on 4th down conversions in the country again? 3rd, 4th?

If you say it enough times, itmight just come true !!!!
2012 Lost by 10 Lost time of possession by almost 20 Minutes. Lost total yardage by almost 120 yards.
2011 Lost every phase of the game and completely dominated. outgained 3 to 1 in yardage. 38 to 22 in time of possession. 21 point loss.
2010 Lost score, yardage, first downs, time of possession and the game by 22 points
2009 Another 3 score loss, loss time of possession, loss yardage, first downs
Now which games were Clemson the better team and lost because of their own mistakes.
Was it the 3 score loss, the 22 point loss or the time where you were out gained 3 to 1, or the game where you never saw the ball in the 2nd half and could not get SC off the field.
Keep telling yourself that Clemson was the better team and you might just begin to believe it.

fact that the Chad went away from his game plan this past season? You're only looking at half the picture when you regergitate numbers that don't show this error. It's difficult to win that battle when you completely ditch the run and go 3 and out on a consistent basis. The Chad even said this himself...something along the lines that he left a few plays in his "back pocket." Say what you will, but again, we were not overmatched.

the first game. That's not going to change until we get some fire on defense and the players realize that game is the most important one on the schedule. Losing to them ruins the season. 2011, ACC Championship season is bitter sweet. I ####### hate losing to them. It's unacceptable. Had Dabo not brought in Chad and Brent he'd be fired for losing to them.
Swearinger knocked Ellington into next week, and our team just stood around and watched. That's the difference in our programs.

I think the win against LSU will payoff in games like the ones we have had with USC. I think our players and coaches know we have to be more physical. I think we will see some LB's this year laying the wood to some players. K. Jones is a hitter.

Ellington and McDowell were getting good yards on the ground, especially when they did the read option off of Clowney. If we kept doing that instead of making Tajh take 6-7 step drops we win.

Whomever thinks losing to usuc is acceptable has totally lost sight in what's important to most CLEMSON fans. I guess you missed the class that day - because it is the MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THE ENTIRE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try and understand that. Dabo and the coaches and the players also need to understand that. And yes - losing that game - in spite of having a great season otherwise, is like biting into an apple and only seeing half the worm. Visualize that the next time you act like it's okay to lose to usuc.
