I can generally appreciate disparaging remarks about the coots, but this guy definitely did himself no favors with his multiple gaffes also. The initial search and hire was a mess from the beginning, and he never tried to do much of anything to win over the naysayers.

who loved him. The way he took charge and eliminated a lot of BS. Of course they aren't gender studies faculty who were triggered by him from the beginning. And they agree with him about the culture there
