What a joke! Everything is cool as long as China is not to blame. One question that demands an answer regardless of the origins of the virus(which we'll never know), why did China lock down domestic travel to and from Wuhan while permitting unabated international travel? What was the rationale for that move?

I'd estimate that a pretty hefty majority of the population believes that the virus originated in the Wuhan lab. Most, like myself, also probably assume accident over malevolence, i.e., the virus escaped the confines of the lab through human error. A smaller group believes in calculated and intentional release (which really doesn't make sense if you're China unless you release it in Manhattan or San Francisco--releasing it on your own people would be pretty dumb, UNLESS THEY WERE DOING IT TO COVER THEIR OWN TRACKS AND WE'RE AT CONSPIRACY DEFCON 11).
So the most likely scenarios, the first 3, where some sort of zoonotic transmission occurred, are the most boring, and they don't help make sense of the chaos in the world where we need clear delineation of good and evil. Thusly, the WHO must be in on it, and as such, they're part of the...whatever, Deep State, Illuminati, etc.
It's so easy! Try it. Very satisfying.

I don't think this was an intentional release. However, I think one can probably conclude the Chinese knew they had a problem on their hands well before the world realized what was going on. Again, why lockdown Wuhan from the rest of China while permitting travel abroad. This was not responsible behavior.

Either they knew about it, were trying to stop it, couldn't, then hid the fact they screwed that up, OR they had already discovered it, were studying it in a lab, and it escaped. Then they tried to cover that up. Has nothing to do with the WHO. You could send the CDC in there, or anyone else, and they will find nothing. Heck, China won't let anyone else in to investigate.
I say a lab leak, or otherwise something they knew about and tried to control but failed. Either way. Not a conspiracy. They have yet to find a host animal. That's BS. They already knew the host animal. That's why when they shut down the market, they didn't bother testing any animals there. Because they knew it didn't start there and wasn't an animal they sold there.
It has been found in Italy as early as September. First cases China recorded (or released) had no contact with that market. It had entered the US by at least early December. Trump was briefed on a new virus emerging in China in his intelligence briefing (which I'm sure he ignored) on THANKSGIVING.
But assuming it jumped from some animal to a human, as long as that didn't happen in a lab or something, I see no reason why anyone would blame China. The crap could have started in Kansas and we could blame it on the Spanish...wait.....
