Everyone criticizes our running game, but ...

... we were almost equally as productive as FSU last night.
FSU 38 for 121 yards
Clemson 41 for 123 yards
The massive difference was in passing. They completely swarmed our receivers from first possession to the end. If only our backfield could play that well. Ours still seems lost and confused off and on.

Until we have a dominant, scratch that... good, offensive line, we won't win a NC. The plays called on offense didn't jive with our OL abilities.

...we don't have a runningback right now that folks fear. They can rush 4, and pin their ears back, and count on getting the running back anyway or confident the LBs will get them when in run/short pass zones. DL can then just tee off on our OL.

We ran the ball well and defended the run also. 35 yds of FSU rushing on one scramble by Winston and several others of +/- 10 by him. As ststed above our receivers were COVERED UP and Tajh broke early cause he went through his check downs and knew there was not going to be an open receiver. Still he threw the ball into some tight situations hoping I think someone could make a play. Mostly they didn't.
D backfield still a major concern and moreso since early season now with injuries of late. Last night reminded me of SoCar game last night for our pass D. They cud convert third and anything on us

Choice along with brrooks as he develops can be that type of back. This is the main reason we have to lean so much on Tajh on the goal line

Stop it. A lot of those yards were late when they were playing safe and on third teamers. No bright spots last night.

with the FSU Q/b getting 25 seconds to throw our D/b`s had to look bad,, put the rush on him like they did TB and we will see...

Hellsbells, why run when you can pass with impunity. FSU did just about whatever they wanted, and it still pi$$e$ me off.
