up from Charleston on Friday for the games...I left the Wando at 2:40 (Well, the Cooper side actually} and did not get to my home in Powdersville until 8:06.....It was traffic delay after delay after delay......I have made that drive in 3:15 before... but the traffic seems to get wors each and every time....

Hey Spud, my buddy went to the Wando this a.m. and caught about 25 specks. Only 4 were keepers. The rest were 13-131/2 inchers. You have any luck ?

Inchers...plus a couple of decent spottails...but nothing really good today. High tide was about 730 and it is about a 3 quarter moon...Seems like the closer it gets to a full moon the worse the bite.

Happens all the time! The biggest need in the highway system in this state is adding another lane to I-26 from I-95 to the 3 lanes below Columbia since that is really 2 interstates (26 and 77.)

in the right hand lane and a guy passed me on the shoulder.....We were going maybe 5 miles per hour...Must have been 200 cars in front of me...I was like, where are you going to go....

I have been there and know what you mean that is a scary time because of their being in a rush could cause someone to have a wreck or even worse die and usually from my experience the car is about two exits away from getting off. But it is in such a hurry they do not care what harm they might cause just so they get on their exit 2 min before they would.

Spud, you're correct. That drive has gotten so much worse since the 1st time I drove from Charleston to Clemson for a game back in 1999.
We had season tickets from 1999-2009 and used to make the drive for every home game from Mt. Pleasant. 2-Lane traffic on I-26 has gotten completely out of hand.

Yep - it’s always been bad - Spud .... But back when we had season tickets we didn’t mind - because when Tommy Bowden was coaching we always won our home games - "> .... Oh ... wait .... actually ... - ">

Oh man, don't tell me that. I plan to visit Charleston at the end of the month from the Spartanburg area. It usually only takes me 3+ hours to get there, but I agree with the poster saying they need 3 lanes from G'ville to Chucktown.
